Reinhart Manx is one of four playable characters in Dungeon Siege III. He's a descendant of the Grand Mage Merik.
Description[]
Reinhart Manx is descended from a long line of Legion mages. He has spent most of his life at the Collegium, in the city of Stonebridge, immersed in the study and practice of magic. Reinhart is known for his unconventional thinking and innovative magical techniques.
A scholar of arcane magic, Reinhart warps the forces of creation and destruction to his will. Altough he may look fat, it's just his belt. His Entropic magic can blast a wide area with extinguishing forece, though it leaves him open to attack. It is perfect for destroying crowds of enemies, as long as he keeps them at a distance. His Dyanamic magic is channeled through an arcane gauntlet and capacitor. It creates deadly currents of energy with mere motion of his hand, allowing Reinhart to quickly incapacitate a single target at close range.
Location[]
As a companion, Reinhart can be taken during the passage of the quest "Intermediaries". The wizard will keep the hero company after deciding the fate of the prisoner "Krugs" in Stonebridge.
Tactics and gameplay[]
Reinhart is a skilled wizard who can deal a lot of damage from the start of the game. However, his weakness is his lack of defense and stamina. Crowds of normal enemies can also be difficult at first, so you should try to avoid them, as well as not to allow yourself to be surrounded once again.
For a comfortable game, Reinhart needs a partner who will concentrate the attention of opponents: Lucas Montbarron or Anjali.
