Snowbrook Haven

Snowbrook Haven is a fortress in the Northern Reaches, constructed upon the slopes of Snowbrook Mountain. It is one of the largest known castles in Aranna, and acted as the headquarters of the resistance fighting against the tyrant, Valdis, during the last years of the Second Age. Much of the stronghold is built into the stone of the mountain, with the main keep being only a small portion of the greater castle.

The Aegis of Blindness once resided within the Haven's vault, and was the primary reason for Valdis' siege of the fortress. Although Valdis mobilized a sizable force of Morden, and had his Dark Wizards unleash not only the Shard Souls upon the garrison, but a fully-grown dragon, the Aegis slipped through his fingers thanks to the efforts of a bold hero, who spirited it away to Kalrathia.
