This spider is colored to blend in with the subterranean ice cavern environment. Its uses a projectile frost ray attack, frostnid_freeze (40-44dmg).

It's physically identical to a Frostnid.

This an enemy affected by the Legends of Aranna Damage Bug. The Frost Spitter was not assigned skill ranks appropriate for its attacks in vanilla. The revision to armor rating in the expansion renders unskilled attacks harmless.
